project background

Balenciaga has become a contemporary fashion symbol with its pioneering dark aesthetics, deconstructivist design and anti-traditional luxury concepts. This project aims to extend the brand gene to the high-end lifestyle field through the immersive dining experience of "all black afternoon tea", strengthen its cultural influence and reach emerging consumption scenarios.

Theme: "Futurism Dark Laboratory"

With all-black as the main visual, it integrates industrial sense, scientific and technological elements and luxurious materials to redefine the elegant paradigm of traditional afternoon tea.

LOGO THEME

  • Negative shape (-B): The hollow/white outline in the graphic forms the letter B, corresponding to the initials of the brand Balenciaga, which is the direct visual anchor of the brand identity. At the same time, the symbol sense of "-" can also be understood as the deconstruction of the classic B character logo, anti-traditional expression, which is suitable for Balenciaga's Pioneering design concept.

  • Regular shape (+ teacup): The solid part of the graphic outlines the shape of the teacup (abstraction of the curved cup body + cup handle), representing the BALENCIAGA NOIR SALON



INTerior design and visuals

Material:

frosted metal, volcanic slate, recycled leather, matte ceramics, strengthening the tactile layer.


Color tone:

carbon black, graphite gray, metallic silver, partially using mirror and transparent materials to reflect light and shadow.

Device:

Environmental experience


tableware and display

  • Irregular black ceramic utensils, imitating the silhouette cut of brand clothing

  • Meals are placed on the laboratory tray with micro LED cold lights.

  • The menu is designed as a metal card, and the text is presented withlaser engraving.
